Did you try an alternate spelling, like Runsman?
All countries/counties
Kinnes, Ostler (and all variations!!)

Fife: Fleming, Harley, Small, Laing, Malcolm
Angus/Forfarshire: Small, Laing (Dundee)
Perthshire: Runciman, Whittet, Paul, Small
Midlothian: Dudgeon, Sanderson (Tranent)

England
Gloucestershire: Edkins, Trowton/Troughton
Warwickshire: Bromley, Vickers, Hydon

Hi,

was wondering if there are any Barclays in the Cupar, Fife graveyard.

I have a Margaret Barclay Nee Duncan,
Jean Barclay nee Trail
Robert Barclay
Plus trying to work out if the Trail family and Duncan family came from Cupar or another area of fIFE.

Kind regards,
Dawn

looking at above you have Robert and Jean / jane.  I know there have been other posts on the Trails - if you go to search and put in trail and tick the fife search they will come up.

ok, death index has confirmation of Robert and Jane:

jane barclay cupar 24/4/1840. wife of Robert Barclay (d,1855)
he should therefore be on SP.

115 barclays /cupar  & 203  Duncan /cupar entries on index.!
