My ancestors were at 23 Colville Place, St Pancras, London in 1861 and the census returns for that page have gone missing. Typical as well. But I know all the details so it would not really tell me much new but knowing my luck there may have been an elderly aunt with them for all I know.
I wonder what happened to those missing pages in terms of losses, either flood, or just mislaid and are hiding in some vault somehwere awaiting to be discovered???
