Do you think it could be PANCRAS, never come across PANORAS. Could be a mistranscription.

I think you will find that it is Pancras.  It includes the following areas:

Camden Town, Gray's Inn Lane, Kentish Town, Regent's Park, Somers Town, Tottenham Court
