I'm researching Fox ancestors who lived in St Charles, Mo from the 1850s.  I have a Peter Fox, Hugh Fox and James Fox (might be my great grandfather).  I have some 1866 Irish court documents that reference the 3 Fox's and Ballinamore, County Leitrim and St Charles, Mo. USA Peter Fox.  However, I can specifically link these 3 Fox's to my James Fox.  Going to St Charles later this week.  Hopefully, I can find some definitive records.

Hi not sure if this is still being looked at by anyone after all these years from the first post!

I’m part of the following line noted above:

1. Patrick Fox and Mary McGovern
2. Patrick Fox and Rose Gilheany
3. Hugh Fox and Phyllis Humbles
4. Tony Fox and Pamela Crosbie
5. Ben Fox (me!) and Zoe Tristram

Currently with my dad on a trip to Ballinamore to see some old sites (including the family home still there but abandoned in Derrada / Drumbrick) understand lineages a bit more.

The insight into the family tree from sites like this and myheritage.com are truly fascinating
