Hi, was Andrew the son of William Slessor & his wife Jane Gray? I note there's a submitted entry on familysearch for him. Of course you'll have details of his parentage off his marriage certificate. Anyway, William & Jane are at Blackpots,Old Deer in 1841 census.William 45,Jane 35, Alex.7, Janet 6,Jane 2,Margaret 2 months & there's also a Margaret Simpson aged 11 with them.William Slessor died at Blackpots on 8th January 1864 aged 68 years. He is buried in Old Deer Graveyard. His widow died 5th April 1897 in the West Poor House,Aberdeen. Aged 84,she was the daughter of Jane Bremner & her reputed father was ?Gray.
