Can You help please I’m looking for any Census with a James Augustus Hourihane on .Don’t know his fathers name but he would be born around 1880s in Newport South Wales

I'd say ... very possible, Rhys! The handwriting is a real mess but he'd fit very nicely. Hope we'll find a Hourihane/Mc Donald marriage

John Michael McDonald is James Augustus Hourihanes Grandfather.
He named a son after him, John Michael Hourihane, who died during WW2.
I have loads of information on this Hourihane Family from Newport if you are still interested.
And am interested in any information people can share or vice versa
