Norman Markland, Grace Sisson

Trying to locate Norman Markland b.1894 m1920 Holy Trinity, Grace Sisson b.1894 d.1929
only child Howard James Markland b abt 1929.
Mother died of complications from birth of son.
I am told that they immigrated to Canada where Grace died.
She is listed on the family tombstone in Old Preston Cemetery "also Grace wife of Norman MARKLAND died April 13th 1929 aged 34 years,"
I have a photograph of Howard taken in Friargate aged 2yrs 3mths.
Can someone confirm where Grace died and what happened to family? did they ever leave England or did they come back?

Additional information Norman served in the Royal Field Artillery WWI
I have found 2 Normans at the National Archives http://www.nationalarchives.gov.uk/search/quick_search.aspx?search_text=norman+markland
but without a birth date don't know which one.

Is your name Peter?  If not there's a guy peter on ancestry was asking about sisson's in the maitland street area of preston (skeffington road appears to be just of that)..  (Oh I was another post of yours on a different site - that's how i know about skeffington road)...
