Looking for details on baptism for a John Atkin Knowles born c1814, Ely, Cambridgeshire.

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

There's a baptism index 1801-37, as well as burial and census indexes, on

There are two John Knowles baptised in Ely in 1813 but neither with a middle name of Atkin. Do you have any further information which might pin down which one it was?

Many thanks for your quick response.

Unfortunately I know very little about John Atkin Knowles (my ggg-grandfather) but I am awaiting a birth certificate from the GRO for one of his daughters, which will (hopefully) give me details of the maiden name of his wife.

Her name was Sarah and she came from Southery (Norfolk) and they were married c1832.

From that I can possibly find more details from Parish Records relating to his mother and father which may well clarify which John Knowles we are talking about.
