Chris, If there is one, I would like to request a lookup on the 1871 Brighton Census for the following Marchant family, possibly living on Hanover Terrace:
William, b.c1834, Linfield, Sussex
Ann, b.1839, Brighton
Children: James, Ann, Elizabeth, Amelia, Albert and William

With thanks, meg

Hi there Meg

Sorry you have not had a response to this query, Possibly the main reason why you have had no response is:

Sussex aint on line yet

Ancestry.com have not got around to transcribing it as yet, and its not on their list for transcribing in the very very near future.

Sorry Meg, cant give you what is not their on-line.

Chris, That explains the no responses, then!  Sorry, didn't know that Sussex was not included in the 1871 Census Lookups.  Now I know.  My apologies.  thank you, meg
