im trying to find my father in laws parents death records. they died when a bomb landed in betteshanger/ northbourne area around 1943. i have searched all through the death records beta version and havent found them, also on various other record sights, do you think there is a possibility that if a lot of people died at the time that records were not made?

I'm not sure there were any bombs landing around that time - WW2 was 1939-1945 ???

your right ive been looking at 2 pieces of writing at the same time and took the dates of them, we have been told they died around 43 so i have checked 1939 to 1949.

If you are able to get access to the local papers (British Library Colindale or Dover/Deal libraries) you would probably find a report of the event in the Dover Express or the East Kent Mercury.
