Hello, Guplik.
I too am very interested in the origins and life of my great-great grandmother, Bridget Corbett.
She is a very elusive lady, as Irish records are few, and thus far she appears in none of them, therefore I know almost nothing of her.
I have created a list of all Wileman Births, Deaths and Marriages and Census details for Peterborough, Hull, Stamford and Liverpool, between 1841 - 1909 in order to chart their relationships over the period.
Margaret Wileman was registered born in 2nd Quarter of 1897 in Liverpool (8b 110), and Bridget registered as died in the 3rd Quarter of the same year.
As Bridget was in her 50's by then, I had wondered if she had died of complications after Margaret's birth, if indeed Bridget was Margaret's mother.
The fire information casts an entirely different light of possibilities, and is certainly worth investigating.
I have family in Liverpool, and shall ask them, if they have the time, to go examine the newspaper films for that period.
If not, I shall attempt to get there this summer and search them myself.
Please feel free to message me if you would like to have the list I made (though you've probably researched the Wileman's far more thoroughly than I, as I have only recently began my family tree research), and please, I would be very grateful indeed for any information in regards to Bridget and her line of the Corbett family.
One final note:
I found the following in an internet search, though I cannot verify its accuracy, though again, you probably already have this information...
Parents of Bridget Corbett-
Patrick Corbett (B:1828 D:12 May 1890) married Jane O'Connor (B:1832 D:21 Dec 1892) (or Connor?) about 1845-50.
Respectfully yours (however closely or distantly related we are, we are still relatives, and therefore are family

)...
..... Steven.
