Dineen, Kelly, Stanton
« on: Sunday 09 April 06 00:56 BST (UK) »
I am looking to trace the family tree of my husbands Granny.
She was Mary Dineen, born 1913 in Co Cork. She came to England about 1940 and later married Ronald Ball from High Wycombe.
Her mother was a Hannah Kelly, and one of her Grandparents had the surname Stanton. I know the family or relations of the family once owned the ground Cork airport now stands on. We are sure that we have family are still in the area. Dineen might be connected to a Loch Shop and Tougler, Co Cork?
Does this ring bells with anyone?
Thanks
Shirley

Hiya Shirley,

I found a Patrick Stanton, born in Co. Cork in 1907, who went to the States with his aunt (a sister of his father) in 1912. Please, could you tell me what you mean by a "Loch Shop and Tougler" Are these family surnames?

All the Best, Christopher
