The reason you can't find his death cert. is that it would be on the overseas section of the GRO, however I don't think it would be of much help as it would probably say what harribobs has already posted KIA and that's about it.

Have you got any other info about him, or can you clarify the info already posted? which might help us?

one of the lads on the great war forum has the roll of honour for glasgow,and malcolm,who is the resident scottish expert on the forum may be able to help as well,mack

and what is a MIC
the date of his death is from the world war one site
and it is in the book at edinburgh castle
and in the book at the cameronians museum
and on his death certificate in new registery house edinburgh
