mines self explanatory, but i will admit, when i first joined, i was getting the males and females mixed up. i am a bit thick i know, but for ages i thought grace land was a girl called grace,{sorry graceland} andi did not know till today that  ss rhondda was not a girl, named rhondda {sorry again} and funnily enough it does make a difference , if you think you are talking to another female,it comes accross as to familier if the person is a male,  there are still lots of names out there, that i dont know the sex of , so i am care ful, when i speak to them in case i get it wrong, i will just do like we do in the potteries, and call everbody duck, ok, nora T

Mine is my first name, Lea, and the first three letters of the word "genealogy", which equal "Leagen".  In this case it is pronounced Lee-Gin but my first name is actually pronounced Lee-a like the Hebrew Leah.   I have an accent mark over the letter e in my name which gives it the long a but I don't know how to type an accent make over the e when I type it out.  It is the French spelling for the Hebrew Leah.   Leagen.

You're not the only one Nora.  I, too, thought that SS RHONDA was a "she" - probably because of a lady named Rhonda that I know.  There again, I have seen HACKSTAPLE refer to me as a "he" at least twice so we're not the only ones who don't always get it correct

Polly is short for my name, but pollynation due to i have 5 kids

I chose Olly because it was a nickname I had years ago when I was at school.

I get tried of correcting everyone that spells my christian name wrong - Olwen - so thought I'd go with Olly because we're always looking back to years ago, aren't we?
