My christian names are Frances Anne and among my living family members there are 3 Frances(Fran and Fanny) and 3 Annes(Annie) so I get called Juddee.

Utter confusion otherwise!!

WOW.  What interesting reading this has been!  I should have come here ages ago.  What could one say to top the great names and comments in these posts?  Answer; "Nuffin at all".

Robert and Karon are our names.   As we choose not to live in fear, we use our names unashamedly.

In the chat room we choose Aussie Karrob.  Why?  First and foremost we are proudly Australian.  Then we have combined the first parts of our Christian names.

Another new boy here, this is the best topic I have browsed so far.  (Far more interesting than finding our ancestors)!!  I started with Graham in Reading because that's exactly who I am and what I'm signed up as on another forum.

But that's boring compared with the rest of you.  Like someone said earlier in the thread, pick a new identity and invent a life.  Well, I'll see how I go, but for now I'll play safe-ish and change it to Captain, which has been my nickname for 30 years.

Lots of us called Graham, and I was always the one who organised the annual canal holiday, so....

Next week I might be someone different again.

My 'other half' has difficulty remembering her User Names and Passwords, so we both used my Company name for both of us....When it became a problem with email spam, I changed the name to something similar she would remember, linking it to something relevant in history.
Arquebus....it has worked so far (but she still forgets the **** password).
