Ferndale Cemetery (completed)
« on: Tuesday 04 April 06 19:59 BST (UK) »
Hello hope sks can help.

Hoping someone has an index/burial info on Ferndale Cemetery in Rhondda - or as it was known Ystradyfodwg.

Looking to find Thomas Flynn born c1828 Cork, Ireland and wife Ann Flynn or Ann Bray born c1849 Cornwall.  Have not been able to locate marriage details, think they may never have married.  One child - Ellen Jane Flynn. (name could possibly be O'Flynn)

Last known in 1881 census at 62 Lake Street, Ferndale.  Unable to locate anywhere before or after, (only Ellen Jane) think they may have poss died in the area.  Appreciate if someone could check or point me in the right direction for info.  This couple are really elusive!

Many thanks if you can help

Dear Stallc, if you are lookink for Brays try looking at Penrhys cemetery, I could not find any Flynns there, but found a lot of Brays, Penrhys is the other option for burial for people from Ferndale,Tylorstown ect. Just google in Penrhys Cemetery and then you will get
Jones Penrhys Cemetery, follow this thread and you will get the complete index for the cemetery,
