Hi Joette, it is truly amazing how much I am learning about where my mother was born. I just loved your comment about your sister's "pokey hat". It brought back memories of when I was a little girl (too many decades ago)

My sister and I sometimes would break off the cone at the bottom and dip it into the icecream and make a wee "pokey hat". I haven't heard an icecream cone called that in years, thanks for the memory, bye Helen
