Was James Holman related to the Holman brothers who founded the engineering company in Camborne in1801?

There are a number of Holman's buried in the Centenary Chapel graveyard in Camborne, Cornwall.

There's a possible son, Thomas Crease Holman, christened 8 Jul 1838, son of James Holman and Christian, and a James Holman son of same, christened same day, both in St. Gluvias.

1841 census, HO107/137, Book 12 Folio 35 Page 6, Croft Handy, Gwennap
James Holman, 25, Blacksmith
Christian, 24
Thomas, 3

http://archiver.rootsweb.com/th/read/CORNISH/1998-08/0902901675 - here's someone related to Thomas Craze Holman

freebmd has a possible death for Christian in 1852 and looking at the list of children for James and Christian given in the above link I think this is a possibility for James in 1871 in Phillack, remarried:

Jane Brase, 82, widowed, mother-in-law b. Stithian
James Holman, 58, head, married, b. Camborne (Labourer)
Eliz, wife, 40, b. Redruth
John, 22, b. Gwennap (listed as one of the children of James and Christian possibly)
Jane B, 18, b. Gwennap

He may have remarried again before 1881 (or the 1871 census is not him) - there's a James Holman, retired blacksmith b. Cambourne and a wife Charlotte aged 58 living in 1881 who I can't find in 1871.  Now they're in St. Ives - moving all over the place!  There is a widowed Charlotte aged 60 in 1891 and a James Holman who d. in Redruth district Jun 1886 aged 73 - all conjecture at the moment but worth considering?

I have a book about the Holmans and I can't find anything about the person you are writing about Mau Mau.

There was  a Holman who lived in St Ives who married a film star.
