« on: Saturday 01 April 06 01:37 BST (UK) »
Can anyone find Samuel Gibson b. abt 1807 in Hemingborough in the 1841 census please? And also Thomas Crabtree b. 1782 in Belton, Lincs. In 1851 he is living in Reedness.

Hello Chota

1841 Census Reedness HO107/1308/2 page 13b

Thomas Crabtree 55 ag lab
Sarah         "        55
Sarah Dodds 30

Sarah Crabtree not born in County
Remember ages are rounded down to 0 or 5 so Thomas could be 59

Hello Again

Had a look at Hemingbrough (1841 spelling )
1841 Census HO107/1228/5
page 12b
Philiss Gibson 20 female servant to Farmer Robert Bayford 30 and family.

Could not see any other Gibson some pages are poor with names unable to be read. Phillis as spelt on the page and born in County.

Many thanks Oly,
The Gibsons are my current brick wall. Samuel Gibson appears in Balkholme in 1851 with wife Isabella and  a Samuel Gibson in 1871 in Eastrington with wife  Elizabeth. I can't find him in 1861.  I think he might be my 3xg grandfather.

yours gratefully,  Chota
