Okay Ian

Here is one to leave you with coming up your lineage.  ;D

Northampton Independent August 7th 1915

Obituary
Mr R. S. Greenough
We regret to record the death at his residence Billing Road, on Tuesday
of Mr Robert S Greenough, one of the best known tradesmen in Northampton.
The deceased, who was 67 years of age, had been in business as a corn, coal, and builder's merchant for many years, succeeding to a florishing
business established by his father. He was a prominent member of the Gold Street Wesleyan Chapel, at which he had held many offices, including that of
organist, being a musician of no mean ability.
Much sympathy will be felt with the widow and adopted daughter.

And it is good night from me. Enjoy. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Here we go in the 1901 Census
Rand S Greenough occupation Builders Corn and Coal Merchants + Brick Manufacturer who was at this time in Bridge Street.
Sounds like the man dont you think ?

Also they only had 1 child which i cant find in the bmd called Frances A D Greenough b abt 1891
that would explain why i cant find her if she is adpoted !
