Sorry Shaun was totally out with the age.

Image says aged 30 on gravestone, only when I scanned
Burial Entry larger it showed it could have been 30 not 80.

If I have made any other errors on the information I have posted anyone,
please let me know so I can correct them.

Sandy

Hello all, I can confirm that William Arthur Hollis died aged 30 years.

Are you able to give me information on Sophia Bateman nee Ashby, born 1817 in Northampton, died 21 August 1840, St Sepulchre.  A son, Thomas, was born 10 June 1838 at St Sepulchre.

I'm not sure if it is the same place, but fingers crossed

Hi Wrinkles.

Welcome to Rootschat.  :)

I am afraid that there is no stone still in St Sepulchre's Churchyard.

Sophia's burial record says that she was living in Nelson St
and was buried aged 21 on the 23rd August 1840.

Hi Ian,

Dont know whether you are still accessing this thread - if you are, I would be very interested to know what info you have regarding any graves with the names of Wood on them!

Many thanks.

HI Elaine.

Just to say that Ian hasn't been on Rootschat since July
(when he last P.M. me.)

If anyone else can help just ask.

Hi Eliane.

Ian made a transcription and I noted all remaining graves
(more have been removed since I did the Churchyard) when I
took photographs of them.

As you say Ian had just moved House so maybe you will wait
quite awhile for him to be back on board.  :)
