Chealer/Cheater 1811 Winterslow
« on: Wednesday 29 March 06 12:13 BST (UK) »
Could someone please check the parish records for the birth of Elizabeth Chealer or Cheater. She was born around 1811, married 29 10 1832 to George Saville in Kings Somborne Hampshire. I have the birth certificate of their son and the name looks like Chealer but any other information I have found states Chealer.

Thanks for that information. I did wonder if she was born Kings Somborne but on the censuses she quotes Winterslow Wilts. Maybe That is where she grew up!

I think you are possibly correct as Winterslow and Kings Somborne are only about 10 miles apart.

Good hunting.
