Thomas is a tailor and they live at Howe street
Which by the way is a huge street so don't know why it is not on the index. Having checked all 125 houses + assorted courts +cellars i can categorically say that there is no-one called Hercules living anywhere in Howe street in 1871. A mother and daughter (i think) called Bamber were living at number 24
