Not old photographs, but this is an excellent site for anyone interested in island imagery, particularly its coasts and natural wildlife.

The host of the site is also a family historian whom I have had acquaintance with on the CIFHS roots mailing list in years gone by. I dare say he may even be with us on rootschat.

Ok here goes....
After my grand father, (John Fox), became a widow he married a woman 30 years his junior.  Two years later she bcame a widow and a few years later married my father's cousin, (William Christopher Fox), who was in Bristol, England after leaving Jersey before it was invaded.

I think it was in the early 1950's that they returned to Jersey and I've been told that they had with them family photos from my grand father's family.

Any help with this would be greatly apreviated

Again for old pictures go Jersey there can be no better site than Jerrioedis,Take a trip round the coast in old pictures with history of place included.Compare old with today.This must be one of the best sites for Channel Islands
