My 4
Elizabeth Sarah Rendall born 1850 in Bridport Dorset died there in 1938. She is the only one I have a photo of.
Jan ;)

Wonder if your Elizabeth is connected to Elizabeth Gale Rendall
born 1846 (William & Anne), or
Simeon Rendall  (Job & Jane )

Elizabeth Gale was my William and Anne's first child (Gale was Anne's maiden-name) but sadly she died at a few days old - my Elizabeth was there third child.
I don't know of any connection with Simeon.

Cheers Jan ;)

You are very welcome to mention Elizabeth Gale Rendall
in the LOST CHILDREN site:

http://www.tribalpages.com/tribes/lostchildren

the teardrops for any lost child are a little bigger and in greater quantity.  But, often the saddest song, is years later
they are often forgotten on not mentioned.

And it's such a shame when you view the obit page of a passing
senior, and someone overlooked the lost child of decades past.

Sharon, Romilly,

Thank you, so that pic would have been taken in about 1907/8  Wow, it's 100yrs old (almost!)  How scary to think that a pic is that old....
It's my most favourite pic of my ancestors.  I only wish i was so cute!!!

Alice Rust & the coffee shop
« Reply #87 on: Saturday 01 April 06 21:27 BST (UK) »
I wonder, if Alice ever served
John Sealey a nice hot cup of coffee at the coffee shop, and did he live far from Tooley Street or the Black Horse Yard ???

Ann, Annie & Alice - Faces & Places
« Reply #88 on: Saturday 01 April 06 22:29 BST (UK) »
It is neat that there are so many interesting slices of information
on a number of our combined great grandmothers with names like Ann, Annie or Alice.

Some of those mentioned are:
Elizabeth Ann BAKER, Annie Elize HULLE, Annie Marie
GILMORE, Annie JAMES, Annie BEER, Alice RUST,
Elizabeth Ann JEFFERSON. and Sarah Ann BUSBY.

But, it has been great to reflect on the names of
many others such as Priscilla BLIGHT, Edith LOVEDAY,
Susannah HOCKEY, Elizabeth Patricia CAMERON,
and Frances DYER.

This of course, is just a few raindrops in the ocean.  But each new raindrop in our pool of great grandmothers
 is priceless.
At some time, it maybe time to tell a story or two about
the life and times of the great grandmothers with names
from Ames, Best Brown Crickmore, Dykes, Emery, Fox, Flisher,
Godbold, House, Lovell Marshallsay, Meese, Pearce,
White,Wills, Wyatt, Zealey and Zellers.

So, LET's TALK!!
