My four Great Grandmothers are;
Emma Eliza Cooper, born Wednesday 30th January, 1850. Gloucester Street Sydney, Australia.
Edith Bonnin Thomas, born Wednesday 27th September, 1865. Downie Terrace, Newcastle, Australia.
Emma Florence Goodwin, born Wednesday 11th October, 1848. Somewhere in London.
Sarah Handy, born Saturday 6th April, 1844. 19 Pilgrim Street. Walworth Common, Newington, Surry.
I also have all eight of my G-G Grandmothers but I'm still missing  five of my G-G-G Grandmothers. They are Mrs Jones and Mrs Robert, somewhere in Conway, North Wales. Mrs Handy in Aston Juxta Birmingham, Mrs Instant somewhere in Stepney and Louisa Constance Mrs Innis sailing the seas between Scotland and Portugal.
Hopefully I'll find them in the next twenty years of research.
Lovely ladies all. (Well most) One or two were very adventurous, sailing on whaling voyages and living in tents on the gold fields, but they survived to pass on their genes.  ;) Which is the whole point of life and genealogy.

Hi,

my four gt grandmothers are:

Charlotte Elizabeth ELLIS, b 1876, Liverpool.
Ann COLLINS, b 1876, Liverpool.
Isabella DUTTON, b 1878, Liverpool.
Mary Elizabeth Jane BIBBY, b 1886, Liverpool.

I have also found all 8 gt gt grandmothers.  :D

And found 11 out of 16 gt gt gt grandmothers, 2 of the missing 5 are from Ireland  ;D

I have photographs of all of my gt grandmothers, except Charlotte, but hopefully it's on it's way as I have just been in contact with someone who has one. Charlotte married George MCLENNAN, they had 4 children, the first 2 died before their first birthdays.

Looking at my gt grandmother Mary, you wouldn't want to mess with her  ;D :o  But, my mum says she was a lovely, warm grandma, nick- named Mammy Mo. She says she had a very big squishy knee to sit on  :D  Mary married Harold MASON. Her daughter, my grandmother told me her father was killed 2 weeks before WW1 ended, being the eldest, she had to leave school to help Mammy Mo with her 5 younger siblings.

Ann married Robert Parry BALL, and was widowed young, after having 3 children. She later married Henry LAW. I have her church bible with all the little cards inside. It has been well used and loved.

I actually met Isabella, she died when I was 10, a very small lady. She married John MILLER (my biggest brick wall) They had 8 children, 1 girl and 7 boys who all served in WW2. I have some great pics of them all in uniform.

Red   :)
MCLENNAN - Inverness Scotland and Liverpool
WHITTAKER - Offaly Ireland
MILLER. HURST, BALL. DUTTON. BIBBY, MORGAN, GASKELL - Liverpool

COLLINS - Bishops Castle, Shropshire.
MASON. MILLER - Runcorn/Chester
ROWLAND - Widnes, Lancs.
CHARLTON - Bury, Lancs
