Lucy Pond (1850-1934) was mother of my mother's father.  She married a baker and indeed ran the bakery after he died following an accident with a ditch.  12 children! Pic 102

Elizabeth Danns Rose (1847-1941) was mother of my mother's mother.  My Mum grew up with her in the house, and as a result we know a lot about her family.  She had been a children's nurse and the children she looked after often came to see her in later years.  7 children. Pic 63

I have all 8 ggp's and all 16 gggp's - only 19 of next generation so far.

Unfortunately only photos of 4 ggp's and 2 gggp's.

Great pictures Julian and great stories.

I wish when my grandparents were still alive I had been into family history and asked for photos of their parents!

I had a picture of two of my great grandparents appear in the
publication More Dating Old Photographs (1840 - 1929),

My picture was from 1875 taken in Weymouth, Dorset of
Elizabeth BAKER and William ZELLEY.

It was published by the Family Chronicle group.
