My Great Grandmothers so far are:

Emily Holbrook 1873-1958

Stepping back to Cantebury, I wonder if your Holbrook kin  work in connection with
folks working in the "Tan Yard"?

Did they ever go to school with the likes of
Ann or Emily BAKER?

Also, I wonder of they ever crossed paths or stopped to say hello to any members of a FLISHER family?

It would be nice if she did, but I honestly couldn't tell you.  All I know is her father was Herbert, and her grandfather was Joseph...and as far as I know they were in Staffordshire, for the most part.  Interestingly though, Rose died while at the cinema.  What no-one seems to be able to answer though is exactly what they were watching. ;D
Currently engaging in a one-name study of the Twyman surname.

Golding, Twyman, Kennard, Wales (Kent).
Berks, Challinor (Staffordshire).
Wakely. (Glam & Monmouth).

Concerning Martha Matilda Smith (1866 - 1938)
Born:  March 1866:  Golden Lane, Whitecross Street
in London.
Married William John Kyne
Died:  1938:  Mildmay Memorial Hospital in Newington.

I have left a message on the London lookup thread
to try and track her down in 1871.

Zelley,

I have Tilstons from North Wales way, way back in my tree.  Most recent one born at Gresford, but possibly Wrexham as well.
