Anyone on here searching for information on the Lett Family? I have a considerable amount of information, and I would also be interested in finding out more to fill in some gaps.

Hi Sue,
All mine originate in Ireland and are descended from Captain Thomas Lett who came here with Cromwell's army in 1648. He (Thomas) was born in 1600.
If I can help you in any way I will.
Mary.

Hi Mary - Your post elsewhere on the death of your Great Grandfather (Ralph Hincks Lett) caught my eye as I am researching the Lett family history in Ireland (and connections abroad) for a book. As it happens Ralph Hincks Lett was my Great Grandfather's brother (one of 16 siblings!) which would mean that we share a common Great, Great Grandfather ( William Lett of Kilgibbon died.1883). This according to the Wiki Cousin chart means we are 3rd cousins once removed.

I'd love to get in touch with you but as this is my first post I can't PM you, but apparently you can PM or email me.
Hope to hear from you.
