Hi Emma!

Thank you so much for this wonderful information.

I was wondering now if it would be possible to follow this trail further and look back at the 1841 census for  Richard Betts as an 18 year old. I am hoping ether that might lead to information re his parents as well as siblings.

I am also very interested in tracking Richard and Tracey's family and the 1861/1871 censuses.

All I know for sure is that Thomas was in Australia by 1880 as he married in that year in South Australia.
