Hi Sylviaann

Could you be kind enough to look up a James Hunter.  From the 1891 census he was born in Bethnal Green and 51 years of age, which would make him about 10 yrs of age in 1851.  Thanking you in advance.

All the best
Sandra

Sylvia

That's great!  It must be him, because he did have a younger brother called Richard staying with him in 1891.  Thanks for looking him up for me.

All the best
Sandra

William and Elizabeth (bc1805) Gower were married in Stepney but may have moved to Bethnal Green by 1851. I would be grateful if you could check your index. Thanks.

Hello,
I wonder if you could help me out with your Bethnal Green census. I am trying to find Annie SMITH, who was married in B G in 1854. All I know about her is that hse was born in Scotland about 1835, and her father was James SMITH, a "Carrier".
Thanks very much,

John

Sorry no Ann or Annie Smith born in Scotland.

I do sympathise with you.  I have a Thomas Anderson Smith.  I managed to get back because he had a middle name but his father was just Thomas and there were hundreds on the IGI born about the right time.

Sorry
