Bumblebee

She is unlikely to be in the 1851 census if she was born in 1852 but I looked anyway and could not find her.

You need her birth certificate then someone could look for her parents.

Ken - you cannot find a wife's maiden name on a census. Frederick's wife was Charlotte [1881 census] but the transcript of the marriage record is incomplete.
Only certificates contain such detail. 8)
Southern or Southan [Hereford , Monmouthshire & Glos], Jenkins, Meredith and Morgan [Monmouthshire and Glos.], Murrill, Damary, Damry, Ray, Lawrence [all Middx. & London], Nethway from Kenn or Yatton. Also Riley and Lyons in South Africa and Riley from St. Helena.

Please Note

I am going away for a couple of weeks.

It is better to post seperate requests for Bethnal Green lookups.  I have indexes but others have partial indexes for greater areas of London.  Even if I find them on the index someone else has to look up the actual census

I will try to catch up on the London Lookup forum when I get back

Thanks for that, Hack.  Looks like it'll have to join the queue, until I get some more work in.

Hello Tom

Welcome to rootschat

I did find a Henrey Mears aged 12 in Bethnal Green
Ref HO 107/1540 folio 13

Ann Mears age 35
Charles age 6
George 72
Handrietta age 10
Henry 33
Henrey 12
Martha 8
Mary 70
Sarah 4
all born Bethnal Green

Looks as if you have grandparents as well if this is the right family.

I only have indexes.
Hopefully someone will look at the actual census for you.  If they don't after a week then ask again in a seperate post on the London Lookup Requests board quoting the name and reference number.

Good luck
Sylviaann
