Scottish geography

I don't know what area I should look in on here :-\. I'm hunting information c1720 Isle of Barra? ??? I know where it is and what it looks like, but no idea what area you would call it to post in.

For purposes of genealogy, Barra is in the county of Inverness.
Never trust anything you find online (especially submitted trees and transcriptions on Ancestry, MyHeritage, FindMyPast and other commercial web sites) unless it's an image of an original document - and even then be wary because errors can and do occur.
