I'm not sure if Lombard Street does photocopies. I know they do certs, at least, current certs - but certs are dearer ?10euro, while photocopies are 4euro.
The research part of GRO used to be in Lombard St, but moved to Irish Life Centre some time ago.

I think the registration offices like the one in Lombard Street are used for current registrations  - and look after certs required for official purposes eg. passports, wills  etc. These are certified copies not photocopies.

as eadaoin mentioned to do your reseach call to the GRO offices in The Irish Life Centre, or write to the head office in Roscommon.
