1841/1851 Census Look-Up - CRABTREE in Belton/Crowle

Thanks to JohninAus I've found another generation of my family and would be grateful for a census look-up to confirm some details.
I'm interested in George CRABTREE born c.1768 in Belton in Axholme. His wife, if she is still alive, is Elizabeth, born c.1769 in Crowle. I believe that George died in 1857 in Belton.
There was also a son, William CRABTREE, born c.1791 in Belton.
Thank you,
Jo.

Wow, thank you Dave, Nicky and sem73. That's a lot more information and does confirm a lot of my information. The Thomas Crabtree in the 1841 census fits with a brother of George baptised in 1759.
It looks like Elizabeth Crabtree died in 1846 - there's two burials listed for that year in Belton on familyhistoryonline. Neither have ages given but it's a fairly safe bet that she is one of them.
I'm going away to digest all this new information now.
Thank you,
Jo.

Hi Sasha
my great grandmother was a Frances Crabtree b. in Reedness, Yorkshire. Her father seems to be Thomas Crabtree b. Belton abt 1782.
I have only just started looking for this part of the family and would welcome any help. Do they tie in with with your Crabtrees? I am intrigued by the mention of Ann Sykes as Frances went to stay in Yorkshire with a Sykes family after her husband George Hunt died.

Hi Chota,
I've only just started looking for this family too - they are a new discovery as of today. There does only seem to be one Crabtree family in Belton so there is a very good chance that we are looking at the same family.
What I have is from the IGI and starts off with William and Alice Crabtree who had the following children in Belton.
Hannah 13 Aug 1748
Susannah 13 Aug 1748 (not sure if these are twins or the same child transcribed twice - there's a burial for Susannah 1750)
Martha 25 Sep 1754 (buried 1755)
William 15 Feb 1756
Thomas 16 Feb 1759
David 29 July 1761
Samuel 27 Sep 1763
Anne 27 Sep 1766 (buried 1767)
George 25 Nov 1768 (my 5xGt-Grandfather)
If I find out anything else I'll let you know.
Jo.
