Hi all,
I have an address in the 1851 census for a family given as:
Knackers Hole, Ewings St, Tiverton, Devon
Does this mean something or is it just a house name?
All thoughts greatly appreciated
Caz

I guess it could be...the head of the family is listed as a farm labourer though - maybe he had lodgings at a pub?

Hi
There was a place or farm called Knackers Hole near Cove, 5 miles north of Tiverton
I'm not sure about Ewings St. though
If you are still interested tell me the Name of the person so I can look at the census.
