Hi,
i wonder if anyone can help. I am looking for information on the family of Joseph Broadhurst. He was born in Mayfield Derbyshire 1800.
I know that he married and lived in Staffordshire, but i cant find anything on the rest of his family.
Any advice would be appreciated.

Hi Marie,

Mayfield is in Staffs, it's just on the boarder of Derbyshire, I think the nearest town would be Ashbourne which is in Derbyshire, all very confusing :O)

What sort of information are you after?  Have you found him in any census returns?

There is Mansfield but thats just over the border in notts, but back the the borders were all different!
