St Magarets Betley-baptism

I am looking for the baptism of John Clare around 1830. On census in later life he claimed to have been born in Sandbach, Chshire, but on 1841 census for Sandbach he is age 10, born out of county and living with William Cockbain and Thomas and Harriet Broadhurst. Some of William Cockbain's family were born in Betley, I am hoping John Clare might have been too. (On his marriage certificate he is father unknown). This is one of my major brick walls and I would be very grateful if anyone could find him.
