Hi Dipper,
Do you need a look-up for Bertha in 1901 or do you already have that?

Hi Helen & welcome to Rootschat  :)
It looks like Dipper hasn't been on Rootschat since October 2007 so she might not pick-up on your posting which is a pity  :(  but lets hope she does!

Only just found this forum. But for what it's worth I think my Grandfather Frederick Sherar may have been Bertha Sherar's brother.
He served in WW1 in the RFC and lived in Kingston.
Noting the last entry was made in 2009  I would be interested to hear from any of the contributors

Hi.
Im not sure how much use I will be - but im happy to help if I can.
My Nana was given away by Bertha shortly after she was born.
I believe she had approx 7 brothers and sisters and that some of them were bought up in Barnados.
I know than my Nana made contact with a brother approx 5 year ago but that he died suddenly before they had chance to meet.
She has a box of info at home.
Im happy to provide you with any info if I can
Regards
Helen.
