I am looking for James Sloane and his family on 1841 census records, born abt 1820 in London, so he would have been abt 21 in 1841. His father was Bernard Sloane. They were both sailors and on James's marriage certificate to Phillis Woodgate in 1849 they were living in Hughes Fields, London. I would love to find his family.
On 1861 James Sloane's wife Phillis and children were living at 5 Kings Row Southwark and he was at sea. On 1881 census records James and Phillis were living at 24 Sidney St St Pancras.
I am also unable to find them on ancestry on 1851 and 1871 census records.
Can anyone help??
