Am looking for father of  Gladys Alicia Tucker my nan 24 May 1916 - 1995 She married Fred Jackson of Lancashire. Her father was called Arthur Tucker and was known locally as old man Tucker and lived near Tickle Belly alley No1 St.Patricks Walk.

His parents were called Elizabeth and Albert Tucker and as far as I know they came from Deal, but I can't find any details on them.

I know he married a Alice Maud Tuck.

Can anyone help?

Hi i have some information on Arthur you might need, i am related to Gladys Alicia, she is my 1st cousin 2x removed, I am related through one of Arthur tucker's brother's, Charles Batchelor Tucker.
Charles was my Great Grandfather.
I also have a few photos of them passed down through my grandmother.

I think the whole 1901 census  for Deal is missing. I’m glad you did find some info eventually. Ticklebelly Alley runs from Century Walk to Deal Railway station. there are no houses there now unfortunately.
