Where can I look at Parish Registers for.....

Hiya,Can anybody give me the addresses of where I can go to look at the Parish Registers for:

Wakefield

Bradford (Denholme,Thornton)

Leeds

I suppose it very much depends on where you are! If you are local to the area, then I would suggest as a starting point each local library - they hold a very good selection of parish registers in their family history research sections. Failing that, then your local LDS Family History Centre where you can order the relevant registers.

Thanks for that,I was kind of hoping for the address of each of the Local Libraries/Archives where the parish registers are if anybody knows them?

Have a look on Google.   I was about to do it for you and then thought it might be easier if you did it yourself.  Another source of such information is www.genuki.com    They will list local archives.
There is bound to be a major record office in Leeds and probably smaller ones in Wakefiied and Bradford.
The LDS centres are listed on familysearch.org and you can order films of parish records to search there.   There is sure to be one somewhere near you.

When looking for Denholme, it may be in the Halifax registers. I know that Shelf comes under Halifax.
