Looking for my gg grandfather John McCauley, he married Isabella Simple around 1850 in County Down, near Kilwarlin.N.I.
John was born in 1830 and i have no recored for Isabella.
I assume they were married in or around 1850 and had a son my great grandfather James Patrick McCauley, born Sept 3rd, 1851 in Ballyknock, county down, n.i.
James married a Susannah Law on June 24th, 1882 in Kilwarlin.
They had 10 children, Martha Jane, b, Nov 7, 1883,James Joesph,b, Dec 15, 1887, Lilian Madeline, b, May 29, 1891, Richard John, b, dec 6, 1893, Frances, b, May 12, 1896, Cecilia, b, July3, 1899, Susan May, b, Mar 23, 1890, Teresa Joesphine, B, June 21, 1898, Geraldine Burnadette, b, April 8, 1903 and Wilfred Gerard, b, Jan 8, 1905.

Any info on the above would be greatly appreciated.
txs, Frank

Thereis a marriage in County Down in 1850 for an Isabella Semple att www.ancestryireland.com . About £4 should buy you the details.Due to the different ways of spelling McCauley , I think it would be better to explore using Isabella's details

Good luck

I don't know much about the McCauley side but Susanna Law's brother James is my GreatGrandfather. Their other siblings were Elizabeth McCluskey (who also married and moved to Canada), John and Martha Jane.
