Wondering if someone might be able to find a marriage for me, likely in Meole Brace.
John Mansell b 1791 Meole Brace married to Elizabeth ?? (was in India serving with Dragoons until 1826)
On 1841 census he is living with his daughter, no wife noted.
On 1851 census he is 60 years old living with wife Elizabeth who is 62. He was born Meole Brace, Elizabeth born in Pontesbury. Both living in Hook-a-Gate at the time.
On 1861 John is visiting his son in Darlaston, but noted as Married. Elizabeth is back in Shropshire living in Meole Brace, alone, noted as Married.
Two of John's Children were born in India to a native women prior to 1820, another son Robert is born in 1830 in Meole Brace, I have not been able to locate his mother - unsure if it's Elizabeth or not. Not in BVRI.
Perhaps a Parish Lookup for Robert MANSELL b. 1830 Meole Brace may shed light on that.
Any help at all would be greatly appreciated.
