Hi. Can anyone find any details of birth/marriage/death for Charles Young and Emily Wheeler.  I think the Emily listed below is my paternal grandmother, but can't be sure we have the right one, so I have pasted the details of two Emily Wheelers from 1881 census.  Could someone do a lookup to see if any of these Emily's married Charles Young or details of any children they may have had please?  We've hit a brick wall with Charles and Emily.  Yours desperately

Regards

Mary Young

Hi Mary,
This is probably pure coincidence and not a great deal of assistance but my Great Grandfather was Robert Edward Young (born Evercreech 6 May 1859). He married Ada Louise Wheeler (born 1863) in New Zealand, 22 November 1884.

Emily WHEELER m. Charles YOUNG, Sep Q 1914, Liverpool 8b 250.

I think this would make the 2 girls in the 1881 census a bit too old - they would have been over 50 in 1914.

The marriage cert will give their ages, and their fathers' names/occupations.

If you go to http://www.ancestry.com/search/rectype/vital/freebmd/bmd.aspx, you can look for YOUNG births with mother's maiden name WHEELER - it's a bit boring ploughing through the quarters, but with a bit of patience, you can usually find the people you're looking for.  (Make sure you use the option "Complete BMD Index ranges & Images 1837-1983".)
