Bradmore and Bunny
« on: Thursday 09 March 06 13:20 GMT (UK) »
Trying to trace Hickling and Wootton (wotton) families c1770's, I have Joseph Hickling married Mary Wotton (Wooton) 10 Dec 1795. Witnessed by George Hickling and John Wooton. Does anyone have info on children of Mary and Joseph or spouses and children of George and John.

Hi Poll,

nothing showing on the baptisms for Bunny, but there are a few children born to Joseph and Mary Hickling at Plumtree. A possible as it's only 2 miles up the road?

There are a number of coincidences in the information about Joseph and George Hicklin with some of my relatives a century later.

My grandfather was Joseph Samuel Hicklin born in Burton on Trent in 1888. His father was George Hicklin born in Tattenhill (near Burton on Trent) about 1851. His mother was called Elizabeth.

I wonder if there is any connection
