Poll
[Forgive me if this is part duplicated - it disappeared when I went elsewhere to check spellings/locations.]
Just a thought:  Could Lockingham be a mistranscription of Rockingham (Leics).  On the other hand, there is a Lockington not too far from Bradmore, Notts.

Theres a bapt.for Thomas Grimley 21 Jan.1796 at Castle Donington, mother Elizabeth.I have several families marrying and having children bapt.at Lockington and can`t recall seeing any Grimleys there,my grand father had cousins Grimleys from Castle Donington, their father was born at Tamworth and their grand father at Whitwick abt.1842,before that i have no idea where they came from, but its that common a name,so they could be related
