I am looking for a marriage of Hannah Proctor/Procter probably @ St. Peters, Congleton but certainly in the Macclesfield area. It would be after 18th August 1833 as her illegitimate son, Levi, was baptised on that date @ St. Peters.

Thanks,
Tony Procter-Lambe

I am looking for marriage of Thomas Clough to Anna/Hannah ? of Church House Ince.

Can you help please, not knowing Anna's surname has been driving me mad!

Can someone please look for a marriage between a Wingfield and a Tittle, possibly in the Wybunbury area.

Thanks

Edward Berry married in 1764 (approx) in Gt Budworth according to IGI (but might be Over Peover). His wife is shown in the IGI record as Mrs Edward Berry - very helpful. Could someone check to see if her given name appears anywhere?

Many thanks

Hello,

if this offer of a lookup in the parish records is still valid please can Chris or another list member with access please look for the following marriage:

John ROGERS = Catherine EVANS
6th July 1812, Great Budworth, Cheshire.

Any other info from this entry would be greatly appreciated.

Kind regards Val.

Hi Val

The indexes of Cheshire marriages shows only the names and dates.

It is unlikely that the original registers show any more than what you know, for a few pence you can obtain a copy of the original entry from the Cheshire RO, just write or email them the details to the address in this link.

good luck

Thanks Peter,

I will get an email off to them today. Even if it's just the names of the 2 witnesses or the fact that one was a widow/er can make a difference and may help.

I've had a bit of success with the old records when visiting Liverpool RO so I'm hoping the information given is the same from the Cheshire area.

Thanks for the link and taking the time to reply.
regards Val.
