Hi Peter

Could you possibly find the marriage of
William LEA and Mary ? circa 1835
which would have taken place around the Davenport/Somerford/Church Hulme area

Many thanks

Hi

Sorry, nothing showing up in the Cheshire indexes, was Mary born Cheshire or Staffordshire, its possible with being close to the border that they may have married in Staffs.

Thanks Peter,

I only know those areas, as William was from there, however, according to the 1841 Census, she was also born in Cheshire, so I assumed she married there.

Never mind, thanks anyway

Hi,
just wondering if you could look a marriage up for me, not sure of the year but it will be before 1815:
David Allen Lee and Esther.

I am also interested in any marriages of people with the middle/ last name combination of Allen Lee, it was a family tradition. The main area was around Staleybridge, Stayley etc.

Thanks.

Hi - I am looking for a marriage between my Antwis ancestors in Cheshire. His name was Peter Antwis and her name was Betty. I suspect it was the frodsham area as all 8 children were born in frodsham - the eldest born in 1798 So I am guessing it would be before then Peter Antwis was born abt 1766 and Betty was born abt 1773

I would really apprceiate any help  you can give me

Hi Gaylene,

I've checked my marriage index and can't see a marriage for Peter.  I also have the Frodsham PR up to 1812 and can confirm that they weren't married at Frodsham St Lawrence.  The children of Peter & Betty look to be the only Antwis(s) family baptised there.

Sorry I can't be of more help,

Jean

Hi Kath,

Have checked my marriage index for David LEE and David ALLEN LEE but there is no marriage listed.  I've also checked for a marriage between a LEE and an ALLEN to see if that would explain the use of the middle name (although in one of my lines Allen with this spelling is commonly used as a first name).

Sorry I can't be of more help,

Jean

Please could you check two POWELL marriages:

Thomas b.1770 Greasby (I have probability of Sarah Gill at St Bridgets, West Kirby in July 1790) but wondered if there was another possibility.
Also Joseph b.1776 Greasby (again I have Isabella Davies in 1814, Meols) any extra information to confirm these would be wonderful.

Thanks
