Lucy CLAYTON (Born Derbyshire abt 1808).

              Sorry my indexes only cover Cheshire, Manchester = Lancashire, not sure but I think you should be able to write to the Manchester Archives and obtain a copy of the original entry. Try our Lancs board.

             I cannot find this entry at all in the Cheadle or any other of the official parish registers indexes, it may be worth checking with the records office at Chester, you can do it by email at the address shown in the link at the bottom of my post, as you have the names place and date they will not usually charge.

Hi Peter,

I wondered if you could have a look for a marriage for me please.  I am looking for the marriage of Thomas Bann (Band) and his wife Sarah.  I am unable to locate their childs birth certificate so am trying a different angle, hence the reason for not knowng Sarah's maiden name.  The 1851 census is all I have of the couple in question - I hope you can help, best wishes Vanda.

I was hoping you may be able to help, i am looking for a marriage of a joseph woodcock he was born in 1805 and married a Mary ? They had there first child in 1835 Joseph was born and lived in the Audlem Cheshire, were Mary came from i do not know i am assuming she was local.

Joseph also had a sister Ann Woodcock born 1807 and i have no idea who she married or when.
Both there parants were called James and Elizabeth woodcock.
Do your records cover the Audlem/Wrenbury area.

    Sorry there is no sign of an appropriate marriage for Joseph or Ann on any index at Audlem or Wrenbury, can you tell me the name of the first child and do you have them in the early census ?
